We are fortunate to have a trained AMI Primary teacher as an Assistant. Ms. Chang graduated with her AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Institute of North Texas in May, 2017. She also graduated as a Certified Advanced Interpreter from the Simon Fraser University in April 2003 and with her Bachelor of Arts also from Simon Fraser University in June 2002. Ms. Chang has much practical experience working with children in a variety of settings as well. Lewisville is where Ms. Chang calls home. She is conversational in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and Spanish, She also enjoys calligraphy, piano and singing.
Josefa Zingg is a mother of four children and grandmother to six. Her passion is working with children at the three to six age level. Ms. Zingg worked in child care for twelve years prior to joining Southlake Montessori. She values assisting children in gaining independence and confidence. She has completed training through the American Montessori Society at Dallas’ Shelton School. Ms. Zingg also has an Associate of Arts in Teaching Elementary Educations. Josefa is committed to giving her best to the children to enrich their learning experience.
Shandi Gambill is a Fort Worth native who enjoys and has experience with children of all ages. She has worked at the toddler and primary levels of Montessori. She has previously served as a youth pastor and children's director. In the spring she coaches track and field for Special Olympics. She is involved with a local animal rescue group and regularly fosters and rehabilitates dogs. In her spare time she enjoys reading and music but her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband and two children.
